A paragon of the prairie, this bison bull reminds us how close the species came to disappearing completely. We're all grateful to have them still with us." Photography on Aluminum. Unframed Aluminum Panel, 15H x 30W. Jill Haukos has been a prairie-dweller her entire life, and it's where she finds her deepest connection to nature. A native of South Dakota, Jill has been a Flint Hills of Kansas resident for 13 years and has discovered her passion – teaching others about the tallgrass prairie.
