Lot # : 4 - Pony Party!

If you have a child who loves horses, or a company picnic with kids attending, this package is for you! Debbie Phillips, Rural Action’s newly appointed CEO, will bring equine friends to your event for 2 hours of fun with ponies. This package includes: a pony for children to groom, pet and decorate with ribbons and a small horse to ride. In case you haven’t heard, Debbie is a little horse-crazy. Spending time with horses is a great way to center and connect. Sharing this with children and those who haven’t spent a lot of time around horses is a process that brings Debbie real joy. Some children are initially nervous, but end up with big smiles on their faces. If they’re feeling brave, they can be led at a trot, which is bouncy and makes most of them laugh out loud. Hector is a miniature horse with beautiful blue eyes and he loves to be fussed over. He’s a great ambassador for children who may be nervous, because he’s about as big as a big dog. Coal is a great small horse for new riders. He is patient and careful when he has an important job like giving rides to small humans. Additional Details: • Helmets for riders will be provided and required for riding • Package winner must sign a liability release waiver • Flexible dates, weekends preferred. Schedule in advance. Use by May 2019 • Inclement weather may require a rain date • The location you choose must be able to accomodate parking and turning a horse trailer. (This is just the horse portion of the party--the winner will be responsible for their own refreshments)
