Lead Budding Naturalist Birthday Bash
Description
You bring the birthday kid and friends and we’ll bring the entertainment! Rural Action is offering to bring environmental educators to your kid’s birthday bash. We will teach them and their friends about birds, snakes, bugs, plants, and pollination. We’ll probably get a little dirty, but it will be worth all of the fun! Rural Action’s Environmental Education program connects students and teachers in Appalachian Ohio with outdoor learning opportunities. We collaborate with schools to meet science, language arts, math, and social studies standards through environmental education. Through this work, Rural Action helps young people develop a sense of place and gives them tools to make informed decisions about their natural resources. Our programs also introduce students to academic and professional paths related to natural resources. Additional Details • The party can take place at your home or in one of the many beautiful parks around the region. • Offer good for 20 birthday attendees and must be used one year from the purchase date. • Appropriate for ages 6 and up. • Package value $100.

If you are interested in attending the auction in-person, join us from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the Valley Gem Sternwheeler in Marietta, Ohio (boarding at 601 Front Street, Marietta, OH). Bid on silent and live regional adventure-themed packages with Shamrock Auction Service while you wine and dine on an array of heavy appetizers catered by the Valley Gem. Cash bar available.
