COUNTY INFORMATION: This sale is pursuant to authority contained in R.C.W. 84.56.070 & 36.16.145 and by virtue of the Personal Property Tax Distraint of the Pierce County Finance Department effected at least thirty (30) days prior to this sale. Notice of this sale has been given in accordance with the requirements of law. The opening bid includes all delinquent unpaid personal property taxes (2018 and prior), interest, penalties, distraint costs and auction costs. The structure (cabin) may be subject to Federal Tax Liens or any other liens. AUCTION TERMS: All bidders must be at least 18 years of age. Sale will be made to the highest bidder, subject to the minimum starting bid of $41,356. In addition to the bid price the buyer will be charged an additional 10% (10% buyer’s premium). The minimum bid increment will be $1,000.00. A $5,000 cashier’s check earnest money deposit must be delivered by successful bidder to the James G. Murphy Co., Kenmore, WA no later than 5:00 pm Thursday July 19th. The remaining purchase price must be paid in full by cashier’s check or wire transfer no later than 5:00 pm Tuesday, July 31st. If you are the successful bidder, but you fail to submit any balance due on your auction purchase to James G Murphy Auction Company by 4:00 pm, PT, July 31, 2018 via wire transfer, mail or in-person you will forfeit your deposit, and you will not become the owner of the subject structure/cabin.
