Description
Stone in natural slab form with orange and red inclusions. Relief carved on one side with a monk meditating in the bamboo and rock landscape and calligraphy by Pu Jie on the reverse. Calligraphy taken from original writing by Pu Jie, dedicated to Benjamin Liu. Carving cyclically dated to 1988. H. with stand: 23.5cm (9 1/4 in.)
