Lead Bodyguard - GERMAN RIDING PONY BOOK
Description
Bodyguard - GERMAN RIDING PONY 2000 14.0 h. Imported Black Weser-Ems Pony Stallion (Black Boy x Viktoria's Chirac x Centurion Torreador) RPSI German Riding Pony Book I Stands at: Dreamscape Farm, Langley, BC Bodyguard is a charming Weser-Ems Germany Riding Pony with bloodlines that indicate quality, through and through. He represents a very successful family of ponies in breeding and sport. His sire Black Boy is by Black Grannus, son of the Hanoverian multi-millionaire Grannus. Grannus produced more than 60 approved sons and 7 Olympic athletes, after having a quite impressive international jumping career himself. This darling, black miniature copy of his great grandsire also brings very interesting genetic value through his motherline. Bodyguard's dam is by Viktoria's Chirac, a son of the highly revered Welsh B pony stallion Constantin. Viktoria's Chirac is among the oldest of Constantin's offspring. He was a fantastic type and was exceptionally successful among other warmblood sport pony stallions. He was titled Reserve National Champion of the 3-year old pony stallions in 1991 at the Bundeschampionat. Viktoria's Chirac earned a remarkable score of 143.1 at his stallion licensing at Munster-Handorf in 1993 and went on to win the 1994 Reserve National Champion title for 6-year old ponies. With many successful offspring in sport, Viktoria's Chirac earned over 26,000 DM and was titled Champion Stallion of the Weser-Ems Stallion Show in 1994. Viktoria's Chirac's sire Constantin is among the most distinguished pony stallions in Germany with 25 approved sons and 94 approved daughters, many of which are top States Premium mares. Constantin's progeny have won Landeschampion (Regional) and Bundeschampionat (National) titles through their exquisite expression and abundant rideability. Constantin is consistent in throwing beautiful type and good, strong movement. Constantin succeeded in the company of his peers in the 1985 Munster-Handorf stallion testing. He received 9's for all three gaits and earned an overall score of 7.75. He was titled as an Elite Stallion by the Weser-Ems Breeding Society given the outstanding successes of his offspring in the Landes- and Bundeschampionats. By the year 2005, his many offspring in sport have earned him over 100,000 Euro. He has been ranked by the German FN as one of the top ten sport pony sires for many years. Bodyguard is a tribute to the many fine bloodlines behind him. It is easy to fall in love with him at first sight his charming, elegant expression, a super sharp and handsome pony stallion all dressed in black with just the right touch of chrome! His small, refined ears and large, expressive eyes make him even more irresistible! With a correct foundation and good, strong lines to his overall conformation, Highlife's Bodyguard is an outstanding influence for any modern breeding program. He can be bred to larger mares with 50% chance that the offspring will result in a moderate size between them. He can offer pony mares his outstanding type and that extra touch of athleticism and expressive movement that denotes his heritage as so valuable to sport pony. Much like the valued sires behind him, Bodyguard has demonstrated his tremendous consistency and value as a producer. 100% of his foals have been rated premium by the Oldenburg Verband. His offspring are consistently dark, elegant, modern types with outstanding characters and a desire to please that makes them any sport pony's enthusiast's dream come true. In 2009 Bodyguard made history becoming the first Weser-Ems pony stallion in North America to sire a son licensed with the Weser-Ems Association. 2010- Hunter Champion every time shown Training Pony Hunter Champion Thunderbird Canadian Premier -Champion Thunderbird BC Open - Champion Thunderbird West Coast Classic -Champion Thunderbird Western Family -Champion Thunderbird Show Park Fort Langley Summer Show -Champion Thunderbird Show Park Summer Festival-Champion Bodyguard is Approved for Breeding with: RPSI Studbook 1 (Pony), German Weser-Ems, Oldenburg NA/ISR Stallion Test photos of Burberry and Bulgari Boy by Angela Pritchard http://dreamscapefarm.com/HorseDetail.aspx?ID=393 RPSI German Riding Pony Studbook 1 Stands at: Dreamscape Farm, Langley, BC Fresh Cooled Semen Booking Fee: Waived for 1st year, $300 2nd year Collection Fee: $190 includes single-use shipping box Shipping: At current Fed-Ex rates The RPSI is auctioning a donated stallion service contract provided by the owner/stallion station shown.
