Hastings founded Hastings Hatchery in 1917 and by the mid 1950's the hatchery had grown to be one of the largest hatcheries in the country with locations in Maryland, Georgia and Arkansas. Mr. and Mrs. Hastings were avid collectors of fine antiques and purchased only the most genuine items while travelling on business throughout the United States and other countries abroad. Over the period of their lifetime Mr. and Mrs. Hastings amassed a collection rivaling any other in the area. From fine porcelains and bronzes to artwork, period furniture and Persian carpets, simply put, if they liked something they bought it, no matter what the price. Local Pickup is recommended. Items can be picked up at the Auction Site on Saturday Jan. 21st, 2017 from 9 AM - 12 Noon or the following Week by Appointment. Buyer is responsible for removing all items. Buyer is responsible for bringing any required manpower (Personnel to carry your items), tools, boxes, wrapping paper, tape, blankets, wheel cart or dollies needed to remove your items from the property. We will have Staff onsite to assist you in locating your items but they may not be available to assist in carrying of items. If you can't pick your items up during the time scheduled, you are responsible for designating someone to pick your items up.
