For this auction I will be conducting the sale "On-Site - On-Line" Only. Site address is 7 Prentice Street off Rt 12 (Main Street) Norwich, NY. Pick Up for the auction will be Saturday & Sunday Immediately following the sale. Please plan your time accordingly as it is a Drive for me to drive there every day for other arrangements. I have switched this auction closing from my usual Sunday sale to convience all my buyers leaving them for their pickup on Saturday and Sunday. I ask that you all try to take advantage of this. Because we are onsite for this sale, Credit Card Payments will be tricky . If you could try to pay in cash this time that will help, if not,I will make it work somehow for you. This Estate Sale will be a nice one for you just before most all of your summer shows and sales. * All items sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. We Do Not have a return policy. Besure you are comfortable with your bidding before you place your bids. * All descriptions believed accurate but not waranteed. * Bidder inspection is encouraged. If you choose not to personally inspect each item of interest to you, the bidder, our decision about the quality & description, will be final. Remember there are no returns. If you are local and would like to inspect these Auction Lots in Person, I will try to ablidge everyone. Remember to respect the Covid19 Requirements and Wearing A Mask is now Optional. I will try to stagger these Previews to suit your convience. * By placing a bid, bidders signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. * We reserve the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion. * Applicable taxes. New York State Sales Tax will be charged at 8% to any buyer who does not hold a valid NYS Tax Exemption Number that is on file with us here at Marathon Auction Sales. * We will accept Payment in most forms to local buyers or those who pick up purchases in person. All "Out of State" or shipped items that are successful bids, will be charged to a credit card. (Cash, Personal Check or Credit Card). If you are buying GOLD or SILVER, payment needs to be by Bank Cashier's Check ONLY unless you are personaly known by the owner/manager. Payment in full is expected and required before we will release the item to the buyer. * Buyer's Premium of 15% will be added to all successfully bidded lots. No Exceptions!! * Arrangement for pickup of items purchased by Bidders/Buyers can be requested. We ask all successful bidders to contact us at the close of each auction to arrange payment, if we have not already contacted you. We Do Not Use Hibid's card processing system. All payments are made for items purchased, directly to us. As we do not keep Credit Cards on file for buyers, you will need to present your card information after each completed sale. IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD FROM US SOON AFTER THE SALE ,PLEASE CONTACT US FOR PAYMENT. To do otherwise requires the bidder to contact us for arrangements. Any item left after two weeks from close of sale, will be regarded as abandoned merchandise and will be resold or returned to consignor. Arrangement for a longer time for pickup can be arranged. Please do this in advance of bidding. Unpaid lots or Lots abandoned by a buyer will reflect on your Hibid feedback. * Shipping policy and disclaimer of shipping warranty. We ordinarly do not ship. However, on some occasions, this can be arranged. There will be a small handling and packaging charge of $10.00 per buyer (Not Per Item unless several boxes are required) for this sale according to the size of the shipped lot. Larger assortments of items could reflect in a bit more in charge for this service. We Do Not Ship Larger Items. We Do Encourage Buyers to personally pick up their successfully bidded lots. Smaller items can be shipped with pre-request for doing so, at buyer's expense. Any Shipping would be done as an in-house courtesy to save the buyer money. Please be patient . We will get Purchases out to the buyer ASAP. We are not responsible for damages caused by shipping. Insurance will be added to shipping expense unless directed to not do so by buyer. For protecton of your items, I do suggest you include insurance in shipping costs. NOTE: We take pride in how we package items so they arrive to their destinations safely and in one piece. We ship primairily through the USPS. Other means can be arranged. * A Local Court will be used for resolution of disputes. * Absentee Bids are treated as if you are sitting here at any of our live auctions and need to be placed up until the day before the closing of the sale. Bids are Executed Competitively. * For internet-only auctions We Reserve The Right to Cancel And/Or Reopen the auction in case of any system failure. CASH, CHECK, CREDIT CARD (VISA, M/C, DISVR), ALL MERCHANDISE PURCHASED AS/IS, WHERE/IS. Inspect your Merchandise before you bid. No Returns! Period!

Payment Terms
All items to be paid for in USD = U.S. Dollars. The appropriate NYS sales tax of 8% will be added to the sale of each item unless you have a current /valid NYS sales tax exemption number on file with us at the time of the auction. Buyer's Premium of 15% also charged. Cash, Personal Check or Credit Card (Visa, M/C & Discover) are acceptable forms of payment.
Shipping policy and disclaimer of shipping warranty. Ordinarily we do not ship. Personal pick up of your successfully bidded items is encouraged. We will however ship items on request if easily handled. There will be a small handling and packaging charge of a minimum of $10.00 per buyer (Not Per Item) for this sale depending on size of lot to be shipped. We Do Not Ship Larger Items. As we Ship in house as a courtesy to save the buyer postal expense etc, Please be Patient . We will get Purchases out to the buyer ASAP. We are not responsible for damages caused by shipping. Please make sure you insure all Items for Shipping. NOTE: We take pride in how we package items so they arrive to their destinations safely and in one piece. When we do ship, we ship via United States Postal Service. We encourage as many persons as possible to pick up their purchased items personally after each Auction. However, shipping by UPS and FedEx can be arranged. Items can be picked up personally the day following the auction from Noon to 5PM.
